we promote environmentally friendly practices and continuous improvements in our daily work processes.
For the sixth time in a row
have successfully completed the sustainability audit of the certification body of the German Institute for Sustainability & Economy in the areas of ecology, economy and social competence (product, service and consulting quality, economic future orientation, corporate management as well as ecological and social responsibility) in accordance with the di-no. procedural regulation D-15/400773.
What exactly does that mean?
In recent years, we have continuously upgraded the technology in our hotel and increasingly focused on sustainable energy sources. For example, we have installed a solar system on the hotel roof, integrated a battery storage system and set up a combined heat and power plant in the basement. This enables us to generate both electricity and heat for the entire building. All systems are networked via an intelligent controller, which prioritizes the use of solar energy and only activates the CHP unit when there is additional demand (especially in winter). In this way, we now cover 93% of our annual electricity requirements ourselves and have been able to reduce our consumption of fossil fuels (gas and oil) by 30%. We are also implementing steps to reduce our fresh water consumption and minimize our waste production.

Modernisierung unseres Frühstücksraums
Seit Dezember 2025 erstrahlt unser Frühstücksraum in neuem Glanz! Wir freuen uns, Ihnen ein noch schöneres Ambiente für den perfekten Start in den Tag bieten zu können.
Kurzbeschreibung des Vorhabens: Im Rahmen der Modernisierung wurden die Räumlichkeiten umfassend renoviert und mit modernster Ausstattung versehen, um den Komfort für unsere Gäste nachhaltig zu steigern und den historischen Charme unseres Hauses mit zeitgemäßem Design zu verbinden.
Ziele und Ergebnisse: Ziel des Projekts war die Attraktivitätssteigerung unseres Hotelangebots sowie die Stärkung der regionalen Tourismusstruktur durch eine hochwertige und barrierefreie Gestaltung des Gastraums.
Förderhinweis: Mit dieser Maßnahme wird die Zusammenarbeit der Bevölkerung vor Ort und die Initiierung, Organisation und Umsetzung von Projekten zur nachhaltigen Entwicklung in ländlichen Gebieten (LEADER-Region) unterstützt. Damit wird ein Beitrag zum spezifischen Ziel SO8 (dynamische ländliche Entwicklung) im GAP-Strategieplan Deutschland geleistet.
Dieses Vorhaben wird finanziert mit Mitteln der Europäischen Union im Rahmen des ELER sowie mit Mitteln des Landes Baden-Württemberg.
